“You are so knowledgeable in the practice and the art of yoga. You are a great and delightful communicator. It is one thing to be knowledgeable in your field, but to translate it to others where they understand it and find benefit from it is a gift. And you have that gift in a very comfortable and reassuring way. You are usually faced with a classroom of people at different levels of abilities as well as understanding what it is they are trying to do. And yet you reach out with your words to us all at the same time, without losing the spirit of the advanced students and without intimidating the beginner student. You do it with calmness, humor, and the ability to be exact in your explanation. You cover how to move into a pose from what body part goes where, and what your feet should be doing at the same time where the arms should be in relation to your torso, and my favorite “don’t forget to breathe”.
